(Video) What matters more than talent? Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder and CEO, delivers grad speech

A beautiful grad speech. I highly suggest reading the comments. I especially like this comment by  Harald Jezek

“It’s not so much what we say, but how we say. We have an expression that goes like that: “the tone makes the music”.

I often get very serious about problem solving and am mindless of my tone. Empathy, kindness, forethought and connection can be far more difficult than the math.

I also love this one by Ari Melman “Truth needs a call to action. Otherwise, it just depresses people and makes them feel powerless. Then you begin to breed people who prefer ignorance.”

Fast forward to 5:55 to skip the intro.
