Posted by ann | July 10, 2010, 12:01 amSo glad to see you are getting the info on the Skin Deep site out to people. We are a handmade skincare line that also lists on the Skin Deep site with 0-3 levels. Mostly all 0 (we have over 30 products) and unfortunately organic essential oils and other organic ingredients are not taken into account and can still come up with impurities on the site which can be frustrating since everything we use is as pure as possible! I am glad you did mention there are some drawbacks to the system, but it is such a wonderful tool for consumers. Please check us out, we would love to be included on your site. Our products are very pure. Our inspiration for creating our company was to provide the purest products possible so we go at great lengths to keep our standards high. We also only store in glass containers so there is no possible leeching of phlatates into our products during storage and usage. Keep up spreading the word about toxins in skincare and promoting companies that are safe alternatives! People need to be informed so they can make educated purchases. Unfortunately we cannot trust that products are safe just because they say natural organic or are in a health food store. Thanks again!

I know a great company you could add: Organic Essence. They have a fabulous product and it comes in biodegradable jars!
BTW, I love your blog!
